Well, duh! Of course it's violent.

It's called a "wargame' for a reason.

Not a fluffy bunny and my little ponies game.

Had to laugh at the warning put up before a rescreening of "the world at war" a few nights ago.

"May contain graphic images of violence".
It was a war documentary. I should bloody well hope it did.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

I just wanted to poke in and say wow Yea it has its violent moments and such, but really they arnt THAT bad, and mostly, its a fantasy nature anyways, and to me thats not nearly as bad. I dont shield my childrens eyes when we watch LOTR and they start hacking up Orcs, I just say TAKE THAT ORCS! Thats what you get for not being proppa green! Its the same thing in 40k, its fantasy, they hack up bugs and aliens that dont exist.

But video games are ok? Seriously, thats a messed up view, there are PLENTY of games I dont let my children even watch when I play them, but SpaceMarine is fine by me, again, its a fantasy setting, I dont have to worry about me hacking up Orks, and it affecting my son beyond the fact, that he really truly thinks a SpaceMarine is the end all be all on the table

Though 40k is technically an extremely violent universe with thousands of horrible ways to die and a few hundreds fates worse than death, it's not really graphic while you're playing the tabletop game.

Betcha this probaly all the parents knows about 40K and the Space Marine video game is another for them.

It is more violent, but the game is just a load of plastic men on a table.

I mean, have you played COD zombies?
