"...and special thanks to Judgedoug!" - Alessio Cavatore "Now you've gone too far Doug! ... Too far... The prices are competitive, the models look great

and the Sherman's extra turret can easily be magnetised to let you use your tank as either version, or used as a bit of scenery (lots of loose turrets around after a tank 'cooked off')

bargain

They're priced the same as Warlord's plastics, but look so much better and offer more options.

With the Tanks out in the wild it looks like Rubicon are exploring hard plastic buildings

(they need to check interest as this will be expensive so let them know what you think at the link below)

Rubicon say
All these are our initial prototype parts, still a lot of fine-tuning and touch-up work before they can be put into our final design.
We have not put in (or etch) texture on the walls yet. There is a lot of consideration on painting, seamless pattern matching between walls, and so on...
Other options will later be incorporated into the final design, such as balcony, back door, outhouse, and so on...

Nothing wrong with modular, semi-modern houses that aren't made of wood and are hopefully affordable.

These tanks look great, the track design you guys came up with in particular seems like a very clever and simple solution. A lot of tank kits in this scale that have overlapping road wheels can look a bit muddy as the tracks are usually cast as one piece, but this method makes your road wheels look very sharp and good looking. Might have to look into getting one of those T34s for my Soviets.

After much discussions and feedback from various forum members (on our official forum), together with our test fitting on the 3D prototype parts, we have refined our technical drawing on the T-34/85 design. This is our final version of the T-34/85 tank!

This is the early version (1943) of the T-34/85 with D5T mantlet. Note the position of the ventilator at the rear had been moved closer to the copula; plus the front pear-shaped periscope cover had been move backward towards the copula as well. In addition, the top front armour plate had been extended to make the sloping angle of the turret looks more natural.

This is the late war version (1944) of the T-34/85 with S53 mantlet. We have added a flamethrower gun to turn this tank into an OT34/85. The flamethrower is backward compatible with our T-34/76 kit; hence all parts are interchangeable (except for the hull - turret ring is larger on the T-34/85)!

C&C are most welcome! We will send the design to factory for mould making early next week!

Sign me up for at least 1 Stuka Zu Fuss and 251/8!

If I didn't already have three Warlord 251/1 and a 251/10 then I'd be a bit more excited but I'm still happy with the variants being offered

Finally had the time to make some extra bits and pieces to paint up a prototype. Unfortunately, we have forgotten to make a single door piece, so the storefront piece is used for all buildings you see here!

NOTE: The prototype you seen here is NOT THE FINAL version. We have just painted up a sample using some old and new resin duplicate pieces we have around the studio.

This is a standalone house setup:

This is a Town House with a new rooftop.
With this rooftop, you can line up several town houses together provided you do not have windows on the side:

By adding various different components, you can customize each building with a different look.
Here is an example with using Rooftop Gables:

Other components would mean:
1) Different windows
2) Different chimneys
3) Different doors
4) Balconies
5) Basement

When we meant "Modular" you still need to glue them together on a PER FLOOR basis.
Each floor is detachable to reveal the floor below... for obvious reasons!

Welcome to give more feedback on features you want to see!

Honest opinion, it looks like a dolls house. Whether the walls need some form of texture, or it is how flat and blocky everything is, my first thought was dolls house/child's toy.

This is just a prototype WITHOUT texture. Texture are added during the mould making process.

Here are some texture possibilities:

i like these a lot! One suggestion if i may, would be to possibly make an alternate roof that's flat, for gameplay purposes. I love the fact you can go inside, but being able to hop onto roofs would turn this from a "i'll pick up one or 2" to " how much is my credit card going to hate me for buying all these buildings????" Lol

The initial design/release will not have flat rooftop. We are trying to use these as "generic" buildings in Europe before and during WW2.
Flat rooftop buildings are only seen after WW2 in limited quantities... We will eventually produce some American style buildings with flat rooftop based on the current design.

We have no pricing yet. It will all depend on the number of moulds need to be made, plus the number of sprues per building.
Our target price is to be competitive with current MDF buildings!
