I'm not sure if you're trolling or if you're actually that aggravated by the ME3 endings. Either one is pathetic.
It's not only the ME3 endings. It's the progressively poor writing. Choices barely have any impact in recent Bioware games (DA2 being even worse than ME3), characters are terribly bland and one-dimensional and the latter speaks for itself. ME had giant potential for a good story, the entire Dark Matter plot thingy would have been a really interesting element, but Bioware took the easy way out and went for a standard, predictable story. Same as with Dragon Age. Simplified story, close to no choices anymore, poor gameplay.
I mainly blame EA for it as Bioware *can* make good games. It mainly is EA forcing them do dumb stuff down to broaden the customer base. And David Gayer. That guy is so full of himself, I feel sick when even thinking of him.

Sometimes I wonder if half the people who when about ME3's supposedly poor writing even played the game, or at least if they actually paid any attention whatsoever while doing so.
Regardless, if you want to whine about ME3, there was a thread for it a while back. This one shoudl just die until they release more info.

It's not just ME3, as pointed out above. Since we don't have any info about their next game, the only thing we can use to judge its quality is the studio's previous work. If Bioware had balls, they would introduce actual decisions into the game. And get rid of the goddamn Bioware decision. And drop their gift -> talk -> sex mantra. And upp the gameplay quality.
I'll be among the first to jump back at the Bioware hype train if they start upping their quality again. And probably fire David Gayder.

Macho posturing doesn't really make for a good argument.
I'm not sure what you expect for romance options aside from "spend time with them, get to know them and have them get to know you, and hope you two like one another". That's... kind of how romance usually works.

Bioware romances work after the same scheme every time: you meet a person. You choose the most obvious and cheesiest dialog options. Emphasis on the latter. If any Bioware protagonist was a real person, said person would never have any sort of romance ever. And let's not forget about the awesome "gift" mechanism. Dragon Age: Origins too a step in the right direction with its "approval to decisions" mechanism where your approval rating (which was another issue...) was influenced by your decisions. Characters need to react more to those instead of "Oh, shinies!".
But alas, if you think that romances work like a Bioware romance...well, all the power to you. Get ready to stock up on cat food.

All 338 of them that apparently still think the studio name means anything after EA slaps the name "Bioware" onto any product that isn't PopCap or Dice or Sports.
It's a gimmick that companies like Valve and Blizzard tend to have fun with. EA probably wanted to piggy-back on what the marketing businessmen finally caught wind of.
Yeah, 4 of you are dancing on the edge. Next post that goes over the line gets a warning. Cool it with the personal insults, and get back to discussing the topic of the thread.
I wish I had time for all the game systems I own, let alone want to own...

The only good ARGs, IMHO, are the ones that would probably be classified as indy games, like the one that thought up Slenderman.
edit: Also, at the time I made this post I didn't see the mod's last post. Thankfully I don't think this crosses any lines?

Valve's ARGs are half-games and half-teasers for upcoming content. They hide small bits of code on webpages, put up fake sites, and put small numbers on items in-game knowing that someone will eventually find out in an effort to confirm Half Life 3 or something. When Valve or Blizzard do something, it's met with investigation.
This recent attempt at marketing by EA was met with a resounding cry of ignorance and apathy. It'a almost as if EA does this more for marketing than fun.
I liked the Secret War ARG that led up to the Secret World. The only part that was weird to me was the same thing that ruined PVP in that game for me - all of the PCs were basically on the same side, just doing things in different ways (debatable with the Dragon) and were just hamstringing each other by fighting.

We do now. The site's been updated.
"It" is an upcoming game called Shadow Realms. Shadow Realms is described as 4v1 online action RPG. Four players take the roles of the heroes (with six different classes available). Opposing them is one player in the role of the Shadowlord, who can set traps, take control of creatures, and modify the environment. And it appears that progression is available for both heroes and shadowlords.
Sounds somewhat similar to multiplayer Neverwinter Nights, except that -
1.) The content will all be provided by Bioware.
2.) The shadowlord player will have a much more active role in things.

Sounds absolutely terrible. Bioware I am disappoint.
Not remotely interested anymore.

So its a 4v1 always online co-op game apparently. Which means none of the carefully crafted single player experience which is bio-ware's strong suit.
I guess I should have expected more of these types of games after titanfall. Always online co-op multiplayer based means no expensive campaign mode and no chance at piracy which publishers still fixate on as a problem.
Ugh, doesn't look good at all. Looks like a very generic third-person hack and slash. The lack of a story part / campaign and the focus on gameplay might quicly come back at Bioware as gameplay has always been the weak spot of their games. I want a good single player RPG and don't want to play with random kids online :/

Well, they talk about releasing "chapters", so presumably there will be a storyline of some sort. I'm not sure how that's going to work with this, though. It seems as if the story-telling would still be problematic.
Something like this seems as if it would work best with a group of five friends. Beyond that, I dunno.

*sigh* It pains me to admit you were right to remain skeptic. Now that I know what the game is, I lost any interest I had for it. I had so much hope for a kick-ass RPG in our own time.

You do understand how long games are in development for, right?
Point taken, but I'd say dying lights 4v1 was copied as it's a simple game mode change, took a ~month id say. But as for this game I am curious as you do have a point, as it is coincidental if you admit. But evolve has been in development for a while, maybe words got thrown around and EA wanted to make their move.
Titanfall was moderately successful for a week or two in spite of having just an EA label. It's just that Bioware-labeled games are seemingly judged by a different standard.
Maybe the initial response to this multiplayer brawler would have been more positive if the hype wasn't attached to a Bioware game.

This has been in development since 2011 or 2012. BioWare started dropping hints of a new IP as far back as that.
