How does this work?

Graviton page 164 of 7th edition rule book: ‘When resolving a hit against a vehicle, roll a D6 for each hit instead of rolling for armor penetration as normal … on a 6, the target suffers an immobilised result and loses a hull point.’

Void Shields Apocalypse: ‘Each hit scored against a Reaver Titan will instead hit a void shield …. A glancing or penetrating hit (or any hit from a Destroyer weapon) scored against a void shield causes it to collapse’

Are void shields completely invulnerable against grav attacks and cancel them out or do the grav weapons ignore the void shields and directly impact the vehicle.

Dimmamar

In order to hurt a Void Shield, the hit needs to cause a glance or a pen. Grav does neither of these.

So you'll have to strip the Shields with lascannons or something before unloading your crazy guns on that helpless Titan.

The wonders of allocating a Hit to a Special Rule... weeeeee.

8th made it so I can no longer sway Tau onto the side of Chaos, but they will eventually turn aside from their idea of the Greater Good to embrace the Greatest of pleasures.
