Space marine:

They are already painted so that takes away some of the fun but i can repaint them right? Still is this good value. I can always resell for more moneyz right?

A lot depends on the quality of the paint job, how they were assembled, what options they have, if they are old push-fits, etc.

But if you price out even the marine side as new, and then take some fraction of that off for being second hand, you still get a reasonable deal. Depending on exactly what everything is, you are looking at a 1,500 to 2,000 point army. It’s lacking a few things (transports for the tacs being the big one) but should be a solid core.

And that’s not factoring the orcs.

I'd say thats an awesome deal for two armies.

The ork army has some strong points with the bikers, but is lacking any sort of transportation. The only fast units you have are the bikes. You can deepstrike the stormboyz but they are pretty much suicide units. Bring the named stormboy with them to cause some havoc. But really that ork army needs some battlewagons, or 4x more boyz and go the greentide route

Im really more into the space marines so ill just buy it, and sell off all the orks. What is a reasonable price to sell of al the orkz? Btw can you convert normal marines into chaos marines? Becuz they both look like space marines ( wel duh)

Ok so i bought it for $140 with an ol rulesbook and dice and all kinds of things on sprues. Now i need to assemble. Still is this still a great bargain. Im now fixing up the orks for resale.
