Very nice! I magnetize everything!

Have you considered doing some edge highlighting on the gold, and some highlights on the red? It will really make the model pop. As you have it, it just looks like red+agrax earthshade.

Thank you for the kind comments. I have considered it before but, I am not a fan of edge highlighting. It's just not my sytle. Now on something like Necrons or on One color Space Marines I would consider it. Even a flat black main color.

It's actually a Deep Red Vallejo Model Color. With Nuln Oil wash. I used Agrax Earthshade on a gold a bit and sparingly. If you check my gallery all of a Khorne Army is like this.

One thing I learned in art school many years ago is to find your own style and not copy everyone else. This is something I stay true to. However, tips and CC are always welcomed this is part of being an artist.

Nice job!

Thank you. Well this one took some planning ahead. I had to be careful about what I glued and didn't glue. I got some green stuff/super glue and some magnets. Magnets are glued to both pieces and drilled cut etc so match up evenly.Hardest parts to do was aligning the model so the hand of the maulerfiend sits on the cork rocks. Then aligning it so when I attach the forgefiend legs that nothing looks out of place. I green stuff the front shoulder armour just above so I didn't have to attach it to each arm. Also not in this set of pics I used green stuff in the hooves and a nut bolt. I can remove the whole model fromthe base for trtransport. I used machine screws to pin through the base and cork.

My next one will be almost the same but I have a resin base for it.

Nice job there matey, very well done!

I'm about to undertake the same task and have not magnetized anything this size before. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction of magnet sizes that you used?

Thank You.

Magnets I used were Primal Horizon 1/4" x 1/16" magnets. On this model they fit nice and snug in the ball joint hole on the main body. However You need to cut the ball joints off the extremities to fit the 2nd magnet. Hardest part is making sure you match up the polarity before you glue / greenstuff it. The Ball joints for the forgefiend arms is also a pain because you have to magnets on such a small part. (in my pic of parts you can see it it's painted a silverfish color). The problem with that part is a b it tricky the rest is cake. As I said earlier it take a little preparation with making sure everything aligns ahead of time.

No need to magnetize the smaller ball joints on this part just line it up in the socket and use the big ball joint hole to line it up.
