So, I've got a sealed box of AOBR sitting around, and I'm considering ditching it since I really don't need it. I got two of these in an Ebay lot a month or so ago, and already tore into one because I actually needed the extra Orks in it, and added the tac squad to my very small marine collection, and plan to sell the Termies as well. But, I can't seem to find a decent price for the box. It seems to sway so far from one end of the spectrum to the other on E-bay.

I was thinking 140 for it (Been trying to sell to a fellow I know, but he has dragged his feet for a month and I'm tired of waiting). A decent price? or too much?

Judging from Ebay prices, 140 for a sealed box set is extremely fair...for collectors. For someone who actually wants to tear it open and paint/play with the minis, the value probably isn't there at that price.

I'd have to agree on this. Someone collecting sealed boxes would pay, someone who needs the minis won't. Especially seeing as the mini rulebook is now obsolete.

Rulebook obsolete, yes. Minis? Not so much. Still a good value, I felt, for the minis within plus accessories (Though not as valuable obviously).

But *shrug* I guess I'll see what I can do. I'll lay out the price as is, see if haggling occurs.

I have bought about 5 sets of the AOBR orks for between $21-36 in the last month.

That being said, when I still needed all the boys and Deff Kopters, I had a standing offer of $50 for the ork half. The last sealed box I bought last month, knowing I had a guy who needed the other half, I paid $110 for. IMO, as a guy who has more AOBR gak laying around than he needs, your best bet is parting the two sides out. I say that because it is rare a guy needs orks and Ultramarines. The Deff Kopters are worth the most by themselves, though if you keep them with the orks, it sweetens the deal as a whole (and is why I have a bucket filled with AOBR boys)

I personally think $140 is too high....when I see those at 100-110, I always give them a long stare. That's me though, and I am patient, scored a sealed box like 4 months ago for $60.
