Either double force org or combined arms w/ an allied detachment rune priest / 1 melta hunters / 1 lrr .... the two land raiders rush foward with the rhinos behind them (rhinos can use the raiders for cover and break for objectives if they need to or move the plasmahunters where they would do the most damage), long fangs hold objectives and shoot from down field, the rune priest would most likely go divination for the primarius (wg w/ pf + 9 gh + wolf standard all rerolling to hit would be nasty) or biomancy.

I thought about only taking 1 wolf standard but kept the second incase both the land raiders need to split up against different targets.

The land raider units are really expensive but will do massive damage (45+ attacks on the charge after bolt pistols and some of those being power fists) and should hold up fairly well .... thoughts?

You will have to do it using a double force organisation, as you can no longer ally units with the same faction together.

List will be pretty strong, I'd be worried about taking out flyers and high AV spam.

In my local scene no one really spams fliers, so 1-2 shouldn't be too detrimental ... against high av I can just hope to get close enough with melta and get enough glances with the missilefangs

Hmm...according to my math, your list comes out at only 1546 points. Where are the other 450 points?

It's a decent list, but depending on your opponent's list, it could be over for you in case your opponent can kill a vehicle per turn.

For those last few hundred points, I'd take 15 Blood Claws + Wolf Priest (or Ulrik, since he's boss) in a Stormwolf with two multi-meltas. Takes care of most of your AA issues and gives you what is basically a harder to kill flying LR.

Its at 1996 .... 2 full land raiders w/ 2 hqs and contents, 2 rhinos with contents, 2 squads of missile fangs
