Hi all,

Thanks for taking the time to go through my list. Now, I know it's a bit all over the place (4 Codices so far...), but I really wanted to recreate the feel of the old Daemonhunters Codex (and add a Knight Titan, because Knight Titans are cool...).

The initial draft of the list had an additional 5 man MT Scions Squad in a Taurox Prime and a Commissar to grant access to the ground formation from the MT Codex and only one Dreadknight. I had a couple of friends look at it, and they felt that the list would be more survivable with a pair of Dreadknights and the Knight Titan to soak firepower between the three of them.

I suppose the general plan would be to deploy the Scions (Inquisitor in the Taurox with their Command Squad), along with the Knight Titan and the Dreadknights, Deepstriking the Grey Knight Terminators and Librarian. Turn one would see the Knight Titan charge forwards, with the Dreadknights most likely shunting forwards to start putting pressure on the opponent straight away. The Scions would try and take the centre of the board, hugging cover as they do so, and the Grey Knight Terminators will eventually turn up and pitch in wherever possible.

That and I have 14 points that I can't figure out how to spend!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I've been running almost the exact list that you had before you changed it & really enjoying it. I run Coteaz instead of the termie inquisitor, but only for fluff reasons. The Imperial Knight attracts fire away from the Tauroxes. I've had one opponent keep a full squad of terminators in a land raider the entire game to protect against its stomp attack. The next game my own termies got stomped & I learned why he kept them hidden.

I don't run the Librarian because I haven't had time to really learn his advantages. How do you use him?

I'm not 100% sure on how I'm going to use the Librarian at the moment; he just struck me as a cheap(ish!) HQ who brings me three extra power dice.

I was considering running him with all his powers from Divination, but the more I look at the Santic powers, the more I like them! Out of interest, what do you run instead of the Librarian?

I'm glad to hear that you're running a similar list and having some success with it - gives me hope that I'm not totally off the wall with this approach!!
