Hey Guys,

Myself (Eldar) and a friend (space wolves) are entering a doubles tournament, 1000pts each army, and he's running a bit of a strange list (and has no intention of changing it at all), was wondering what you guys think I should run to try and support it. Here's what he wants to run:

Logan on chariot

Murderfang w/ Drop pod

4 x Wolf Guard terminators deep striking

2 packs of grey hunters

4x Long fangs w/ missile launchers

What I was planning to run was:

Farseer /w jetbike
Warlock /w jetbike

Fire dragons /w Wave serpent

Dire avengers /w wave serpent

Windrider guardians (for warlock/farseer to join)

Wraithknight /w suncannon

How do you guys think that will run? I'm just worried that there's going to be very few models on the board.
Advice would be great!

The SW doesn't have an HQ. Logan is a LoW and that doesn't count as an HQ, so he must change his list unless Murderfang is an HQ by any chance.

Nah, Murderfang is an elite. Logan being LoW is kind of a kick in the pelt to SW players who want to use him. Essentially raises his points by about 65. Logan is pretty expensive for what he does, I wouldn't suggest using him sub 1500, and even at 1500 I feel like you just don't get enough bang for your buck.

Ok so he assures me he can fit a rune priest in with a bit of reshuffling and keep Logan. But my question was more what I can do to support him as Eldar/if my list will be any good with it.

What you have looks good to me. It's going to come down to how you play it. You want to focus fire on targets that can hurt the space wolves the turn they deep strike, but you don't want to deprive them of targets to charge

Change the farseer and warlock to 1+ spirit seers, switch the dragons to naked wraith guard, run the Iyanden supplement. The jetbikes provide quick objective grabbing, the wraiths provide a solid core to hold the middle, and you let father Christmas and the space pups do their drop and kill thing. If you can, buy a bunker or adl, I would consider it to give his longfangs something to hide in. Also, if he is actually taking 4 longfangs, and not 5 missile launchers, please slap him for us. That is some fantastic cheese the wolves have, it pains me to see 4 missiles in a longfangs squad.
