Seems like it would be fun to have access to six more missions with different victory conditions? Has anyone tried this? Does it work?

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).

Mobility in 40K is very different than fantasy, and the objectives just don't work right.
At 2500, core could be 3 units of 70 zombies, each parked on top of an objective. It would take you a few turns to get to them, and a few more to push them off.
Basically, it'd make for a very dull game.
I would like to see more objective based missions. The value of deathstars goes away if units don't give up anything for victory conditions. I'm just not sure what that better objective system would be.

It just seems there is a complete lack of objective based missions in fantasy

The majority of objective based missions i have found came in expansions such as storm of magic or blood in the badlands. It would be relatively easy to make objective based missions but the game is significantly different from 40k so if you did try that using them straight from the book wouldnt work. It would require reworking first

The triumph and treachery expansion has some nice scenarios that are objective based.
You could always make up your own scenarios for it which would be cool and if you come up with any you could defiantly share on here
