Hey all first time poster here
I've been working on a DIY chapter for a long time now and the champions of fenris supplement has finally given me some rules which suit my fluff so here is a list I chucked together based on a fluffy (medieval/melee/challenges) drop pod theme.

Company if the great wolf detachment:

HQ

Wolf Lord with Terminator Armour, Fellclaw's teeth, storm shield and hammer - 185pts (with the termies)

Ulrik the slayer (for an awesome preferred enemy bubble) - 145pts (with the blood claws)

Rune priest with psychic hood and mastery lvl 2 - 95pts (with the wolf guard)

ELITES

Wolf guard squad: 8 wolf guard with a leader (armed with frost sword) with 3 combi-meltas, a power axe and a power fist in a drop pod - 287pts

Wolf Guard Terminators: 4 TH/SS termies plus a leader with a Heavy Flamer and Frost Sword - 240pts

Venerable Dreadnaught with Hellfrost cannon and heavy flamer in a drop pod - 185pts

TROOPS

8 Blood claws plus a leader (armed with a powersword) with a flamer and a powerfist in a drop pod with locator beacon - 208pts

9 grey hunters plus a leader (armed with a powersword) with 9 CCW, a power axe, a wolf standard, a flamer and a melta in a drop pod - 273pts

9 grey hunters plus a leader (armed with a powersword) with 9 CCW, a flamer and a melta in a drop pod - 233pts

TOTAL = 1851pts

I've also been toying with the idea of dropping the rune priest and dreadnought, along with a few upgrades here and there, for a Nemesis strike force made up of a ML3 Librarain and 5 GK terminators with a hammer and an incinerator. Hopefully they come in first turn on the 3+ with my 2 pods :/

I'm going for all-comers, semi-competitive and fun. What are your thoughts?
