Didn't see this posted but CMON just released the new Prevailer models for Forsaken.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
They are looking pretty sweet imo, their models keep getting better, and the game is a blast

I don't play Dark Ages at all but I really want to add those guys to my collection as well.

They really are nice looking.

Of course, I've had my eyes on some of those Brood figures and the Kulkunai or however you write it, so it may just be a matter of time before I give the rules a try.

Don't the Dark Ages figures tend to be pretty large as well? I tend to prefer larger figures.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

Heres a bad pic for size comparison

The mini on the right is a forsaken strike if I remember right.

Left to right (Deadzone reb, infinity Comando(no way are they SAS with poor BS like that ), deadzone reb commander, imperial guardsman, deadzone reb and dark age forsaken strike.)

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Aww man, I was going to grab Marius for his head, but on the painted version it looks like it's integral not a separate part as I'd thought, and it a three figure set so more expensive than I expected and with extra stuff I'd not use :(

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks
-----
"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

The newer models are closer to true scale than the old one, and the sculpting is really nice.

One thing thats stopped me picking up this game is the core rules.

I prefer real books to pdf's but I read somewhere that they plan on releasing new core rules every year, the last rulebook is 2013 so we must be due a new one soon?

Although by the time I've bought and painted two starters worth I expect the new one will be out

Are you aware that if you buy the core rule book, you can trade it in at any event they attend for free for the update?

Yeah but I don't get out much

I would only expect to see them once a year if that in the UK as they are distributed by another company (not a normal distributor).

This is how get mine. I don't actually think I have a physical copy of the most recent core rules. All my "rules" books go straight to my tablet.

The Fanaticism book, however, is phenomenal. I just finished reading through it last week, and will actually have a short review up (hopefully) by the end of this week.

You're killing me, dude.

I've got this one like, a quarter done. Rivet Wars Wave 2 like, half done. Shadows of Normandie like, half done, and a few others that I have lined up.

Sigh... I need to start writing more consistently and actually finish something...

I think Mr Black said they were not going to update the Core Rules next year, but I may be wrong.
