I had this hanging around for a few years so thought it was time to throw some paint at it.
Cost me £5 i think, stands around 6.5 in head height 7.5ish to top of horns on 100mm base.
I`m guessing Glotkin will be £75+.

Really difficult to make out much detail from that photo.

It's certainly bright, though.

If you click it ,it will get bigger which helps a bit but i have had some pc problems and am forced to use some different software that wont clean up the flash glare like i`m used ,also it has a heavy gloss varnish (retro!) which is helping hold all the flys in place.

Never use a flash for taking mini pics. It washes them out, which is the problem here... the harsh glare just winds up blending all of the colours together. And yeah, the gloss won't help that.

There are a stack of tutorials all over the net (probably at least a couple in the Dakka Articles section) for taking good mini photos. Have a look around - you might be surprised by how easy it actually is

It is an expression. He didn't really just throw paint at it. Although the picture doesn't help that impression any.

Expensive, two sprue 100x150mm Nurgle unit:

http://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/The-Glottkin

From the GW product page --

Mutated beyond their mortal forms, the Glottkin rank as the mightiest champions of Nurgle. They combine the darkest sorcery, the most virulent plagues and monstrous strength to butcher any opponent of the Dark Gods.

This multi-part plastic kit features Ethrac and Otto Glott riding on the shoulders of their monstrous brother Ghurk. Ethrac is armed with a staff and ceremonial dagger, whilst Otto is distinguished by his huge scythe. All three miniatures are covered with boils, sores, open wounds and other gruesome gifts of Nurgle. Can you spot the three nurglings nestled amongst their folds of flesh and bone?

Due to the sheer size of the fella, I don't think £53 is too bad. Well not considering what it could've been

I expected it to be more, its a move in the right direction but still very expensive for what you are getting, i assume it will be a light weight hollow kit so there will be very little materials content and you can pick up pre-painted McFarlane or WoW figures that are solid for a fraction of the price.
