The metal looks really good!

From here, I would paint some wear into the red areas to make it look like chipped paint. Just paint little lines of metal over top of black here and there, especially on edges and rivets/bolts. Its real easy. Then I would highlight the skin, it looks a little too flat.

However, it looks excellent as is!

Hey thanks a lot for the comment! I never thought of chipped paint. that sounds pretty simple.

I definitely wanted to highlight the skin. I just got to a point where I liked it and didn't want to mess it up because highlighting is something that often eludes me. Especially edge highlighting. I think i will give it a go though.

Skin highlights are often simpler than edge highlights. You just hit the highest areas only, leaving some of the dark color in the recesses. Its pretty forgiving; if you get too much highlight, you can roughly correct it with another wash of green ink!

Heres an example:

You want to paint a lighter color in these areas. This is a bit heavy handed, so less wont hurt. All you do is follow the folds of the skin.
