Wunderbar.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

Pretty cool, I guess that's what happens when you fire a high calibre gun with a muzzle brake on a dusty ground, lol.

There's a few videos of Pak-40's firing. This one is cool, especially at the end with the slow mo where you can see the live round kicking up dust...

Or watch the dude firing this one, seems he wasn't quite expecting such a shock wave, lol....

Or the 88 on a Jagdpanther...

I'd like to hear the 88 in person as I'm guessing the video doesn't do it justice.

Or some old school videos of Tigers firing their 88's.

Thw first shot is the surprise shot, however notice the smoke dispersal, its heavy and even on either side of the gun, the gun provides its own smoke cover while being fired, but keeps vision clear to the immediate front. I can envision that being a nasty combination in a tank ambush, no wonder they were so feared.
