I... actually don't know. Help?

Hiya guys, if you've been stalking me, you know I like the IG, and that I want to make my own regiment, and a Space Marine Chapter as allies. I've been working on a few color schemes I thought I'd share with you.

Constructive criticism is welcome!

Side note: The blue on all of these is supposed to be Leadbelcher with a few layers of Drakenhof Nightshade.

Now, Fluff time!

Spoiler:
General Fluff: The Cadian 42nd, one of the many Cadian regiments, has been through quite a few fights. Although loyal to Cadia and the Imperium of man, most of the Recruiting and training process is done on their homeplanet, Osmodoro. Osmodoro is a planet about the same size as Cadia, with about 40% water, and the rest covered by either iced glaciers, birch forests, and huge, open fields. The harsh environments contributes to their soldiers toughness and bravery. Wearing metallic blue Flak Armour over Khaki-Brown jackets and pants, they're often called 'The Muddy Murderers' because of them using mud as camouflage.
Osmodoro also holds the HQ of a Space Marine chapter: The Angels of Osmodoro. A highly mechanized chapter, utilizing almost only vehichles, such as Razorbacks, Land Speeders, and such. Their Veterans and Terminators are also feared warriors, stopping at nothing to win.
The Cadian 42nd and the Angels of Osmodoro often cooperate in combat, utilizing eachothers transports, providing covering fire, protecting eachothers backs, etc. As an example, during the Great Cultist Uprising in 768 M40, the both forces rammed the enemy with Razorbacks, perforated them with Las- and Bolterfire, and sacrificing oneself for another.

So, that's my fluff. Now, take a look at my first draft color schemes. I'll try to buy a few mini's to paint soon.

Looking good, will be interesting to see how the metallic blue comes out on the miniatures. Only critique from the fluff is that the "harsh environment" of their homeworld toughens them up.... but their homeworld is mostly open rolling fields/pastures and birch forests/ocean with some glacier. Not exactly deathworld material.

Beef up the home world. A regiment made tough by their homeworld for example would be the Catachans, everything on Catachan wants to eat you, most of the plant life is poisonous, the native fauna are lethal and the forest is near endless. Every catachan fights for survival from the time their born and are made tougher for it (hell they have a 5+ save when bare chested). Maybe your homeworld is wartorn, at the fore front of imperial space, maybe the air is toxic or roaming storms strip all in their path of life. Perhaps it has a heavy tribal culture where warriors only become men by slaying another to prove themselves.
