hello,
I am a 40K 5th edition fanatic that likes to play orks.
I wasn't sure what category to put this in, so I put it in general discussion. I am a new user.
Yesterday, I thought about a 4 boomgun looted wagon with these stats:
4 boomguns
'ard case
armour plates
1 big shoota
red paint job
total: 345 pts
the base model would be an imperial hydra/wyvern, and the 4 cannons on the turret would be the boomguns.
what do you guys think?

gee, that's a good question. I suppose it is all of the options you mentioned.

From a tactical standpoint, you want them go with just boomguns and nothing more. All that hard cases and extra armor are just inflating the point cost and don't bring much.
