I saw the paint cracking, i think it is something to do with humidity or the paint not mixed properly..

this would be bad as the mecharite red is my favorite and most used color...

and yep they all had the hellblaster guns ... they were very cool looking ones...

well i have inside the colors i like and use often...and nowadays even in those i seldom use^^ a pice of metal... steel of the unrusting sort... a pice you use for borads in racks to hold the boards with...

and this makes a good shaker^^

Wow the steampunk prets are stunning , great colour choice , nice highlighting and good choice for accent colour with the orange red, gives them a kinda highland feel . which would sit well with your ogryn.

well i take it all back they are rubbish , no where near as good as your fantastic crimson baeuties i could have swore you made some blue ones as well

nahhh blue is just not me color^^ i like the warmer tones of paints much better^^ blends in well with me brown eyes^^

so i did some work on the minis and i was even able to do some flashy pics of ´em...







hope this helps in cure yoor hunger for brass clad warriors a bit...
next will be some drybrushing on certain parts and also the wash on the red...

thanks shrike... you saved my batchpainting session tomorrow by pointing that one out... that was much apreciated as it would have ruined the drybrushing in batches... getting the washes to dry in a hurry is next to not working... at least to me...as i aply a ton of washes each time i do them...

just last week I was 30 minutes late for a parent's evening appointment, though largely not my fault...

well, the reason I was late was a grown up's fault...

well i did try today to drybrush the raised areas of the trousers but after the first initial try i steped back from doing it as they look very good just washed... would have been a waste of time, energy and paint...so i then went to wash the red and while it did come out good on all bodyparts where needed i think i have to use another wash on the cloaks or even do it in devlan mudd or badabblack... to geta bit more texture into them...also the minis need now a wash of black ofer their weapons and carpace to make it look a bit more worn...

i finally present my first true completed squad of Imperial Guradsmen...well sort of as i still think i could have done some thimgs better and there are certainly some parts that need a touchup or two...
BUT
they are now as good as they currently get...

later, when my cam is fully loaded again i will make individual shots of each and make a portflio shot of each...probably with a nametag then...
