Does anyone know if there's such a thing as brush on Matte Varnish?
Also if there is can you guys suggest a good brand?
I live in super humid Mississippi and don't tend to get to spray much and when I do the results are often horrifying. I pretty much have to get alot of my priming done in the short fall and winter.
YOU WANT THIS!!!!! This is Winsor and newton water mixable matte varnish. IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it can go through an airbrush or be painted on and it can be thinned with water. Also if you have a hobby lobby near you it can be 40% off with there online coupon they always have making it like 5 bucks. Its a better product than vallejo and ull get about 10 times more
EDIT: let me add that the people before me were right that vallejo is good, I just really feel like this is a superior product

I've been experimenting with different varnishes and applying with an air brush for a couple weeks now. I haven't delved much into brushing them on but I've heard from some well established artists that the army painter matte varnish is great for brushing on.
