Only recently did I notice that this came out, thought I'd take it for a spin. Has anyone had decent luck with it, and if so what would you say are the strengths and weaknesses?

Also, how do you organize your librarians? How many, what types, and what units are they attached to? I'm looking at two possible options right now, and I will say up front that I'm going more for using the models I have and doing something potentially cool than going out of my way to make something max-effective.
I currently have Ezekiel, a terminator with power axe, two standard with swords, and parts to make either a standard or bike with staff or sword. Or I can wrangle an axe up from somewhere I suppose.


First idea was to make just a librarian blob of sorts, using Ezekiel and 2 standard ones in a rhino with a command squad. Then make a bike one, use the bike squad's beacon to DS the terminator one accompanied by deathwing knights nearby, keep those two squads near the rhino. From there I can use the bike or the termi librarian to cast the powers, whilst keeping the rhino somewhat out of harms way.

My other idea was to just build another standard librarian, pack them all in a single land raider with a command squad. Not as complicated and maybe not as effective, but a lot less likely to lose them before they get they psychic payload unleashed.

I was considering trying to break them up and attach a librarian apiece to tac squads, but I'm worried I'd have to keep my tac squads all bunched up, and I rarely have 4 tac squads all moving in unison.

I've never heard of this...where are the rules? What book?

Digital-only dataslate. I like to use conclave in my dual-wing lists, so I have bike Librarian and Librarian in TDA supporting RW Black and DW Knights respectively. But I take Conclave only in lists that are over 1500 points.

I'm currently considering what disciplines to take on them.

so far, for the TDA (whose squad has a heavy flamer and himself a combi-flamer) I am thinking Pyromancy. Drown those covercampers in wounds! All those anti-blob powers and even a bit of anti-tank seem somewhat useful to termies.

Bike goes, classically for Divination. No reason not to. Try to charge a BK Squad that overwatches at full BS, I double dare you. Also fast enough to provide the blessings where needed.

Now the man, Ezekiel. Telepathy, or, if I go against Demons, sanctic Demonology. Most of those are WC1, and with the harnessing on a 3+ you have to be somewhat unlucky to roll doubles on 2D6. Some useful buffs in there too that can hopefully be cast anywhere in a 24" bubble around Ezekiel... which podded in and should be dead centre.

Is this dataslate Dark Angels only?

Why would you ever take divination on bikers? That's a terrible idea. They are already twin linked everything. Super low marginal return there. With telepathy you get a good psychic shooting attack and the potiential to turn your bikes invisible, or lock down an enemy death star with hallucinate. I never see a point in divination with bikers.
