Beginner here. This is my Chaosified Space Marines, they're finally done.

I lost a lot of detail on these guys because they were already stripped and badly spray painted by me.

I only got this squad of 16 CSM and another 10 man squad of old 4th ed kabalites for DE. I'm on the go at the moment, so I've permanently stored them. So I'm thinking my new permanent and bigger army to be Necrons.

yeah I need to do that. Because so far I tend to just get lazy and "close enough meme". Need to get some better paints and smaller brushes. Otherwise these Chaos guys will be the laughing stock of the imperium.

Well if you want any pointers, Vallejo paints are a pretty good way to start. Brushes I'm not quite that sure, the GW ones seem to get the job done. Other than that good luck, everyone has to start somewhere

Secretweaponmini's has Raphael brushes, i would recommend one of those.

Nice fire theme, I like the pose on the last guy with the weapon swap, but oh so shiny, you could try to paint a layer of matt varnish. if you are going spray matt varnish super careful you can frost minis white in 1 second flat. read the can follow tutorials ive done it and it was well :cry:

Shininess aside they look good, although.the imperial markings make these guys look more" loyalist with horns" than chaos.
Defacing the chest aquila is a quick easy way to show a change of allegiance. Just make a few cuts with a craft knife.


Those bases though. ....just wow.
