A friend of mine is trying to get into Flames of War, and has decided to go with German Infantry. So far, we have put together this list using the Grendier Kompanie list from the Forces book, but I have no idea how good it is. Any suggestions for improving this list, alternative Intelligence Briefings to use or German Infantry tactics in general?

Nebelwerfer offer better artillery support. Panzerwerfer with double crew being the best possible option if you list can take.

Can you take five StuGs in a platoon in your list? Normally it caps at four.

List is basically solid though, with the emphasis on basic. This is no critique, a meat and potatoes list like this should serve well.

The stugs are a typo on my part, it should be four. (The points need shifting accordingly)

Also, Nebelwerfer don't seem to be available in the lists I have, which source book can I find them in?

Nebs aren't in Forces IIRC.

Extra Pak40, and 75 points left for an 8th platoon, could be 2 8cm mortars, 2 more MG34s, a 7.5cm infantry gun platoon, or a 2cm flak38 platoon.

best advice would be to go look at http://forces.flamesofwar.com and see what your friend likes the look of. not everything's up yet but there's some nice free German infantry lists with way more options.
