Okay, so I am getting ready to start building a Khador list for tournament use. I don't go to too many tournaments, so I am just working on having two all rounder lists to break out for the occasional tournament I go to. Here is what I came up with.

eSorscha
Beast-09
Max Black Dragon Iron Fang Pikemen
Iron Fang Kovnik
Max Winterguard Rifle Corps
Kovnik Joe
Koldun Lord
Lady Aiyana and Master Holt
Saxon Orrick

eIrusk
Behemoth
Great Bears of Gallowswood
Max Black Dragon Iron Fang Pikemen
Iron Fang Kovnik
Widowmakers
Widowmaker Marksman
Koldun Lord
Gorman DiWulfe

Please let me know what you think or would change in these lists.

Ok I'll do eSorscha, never played much with eIrusk so I doubt I can be much use there.

eSorscha
Love her
Beast-09
Obvious pairing, I prefer the Conquest for a bigger bubble of feth you, but that's alright each to their own
Max Black Dragon Iron Fang Pikemen
Iron Fang Kovnik
Not sure on these guys, its a good module but its probably a better module somewhere else. As in another caster. Have you considered Uhlans? They WRECK stuff on her feat. And have a good charge range to threaten. And if she freezes stuff in front of their target their impact attacks become money on the way in.
Max Winterguard Rifle Corps
I prefer the Infantry with her, she speeds them up and gives their CRA a boost, she does less for the rifles. And the Infantry hold a zone better with Iron Flesh and Courage on them
Kovnik Joe
There's no other list he'd be in
Koldun Lord
What is this guy's role?
Lady Aiyana and Master Holt
Good call, helps out with the feat turn to really maximise the wow
Saxon Orrick
What is his job? Pathfinder for the Fangs? I'd almost consider changing their UA rather than spending 2 points here

I'd also put Sylys in, but that's because I love to use her as Freezing Grip on a stick, because it just makes lists I make with her function amazingly. Like the aforementioned Freeze/Uhlans/impact/crush target/smile. He could go in for Saxon being dropped. Good luck

I can see your points on the Black Dragon Pikemen, I was planning on using them to mainly just brick, threaten and still be able to throw out a good beating when necessary, I still haven't assembled them so I am debating on if I want them as normal or Black Dragons. I do like the idea of Precision Strike though, it would be nice to be able to just send in four guys against an Arc Node bearing light and be able to pretty much know that I don't have to worry about getting spells slung at me from across the board. Plus fearless is nice too. I would love to run the Uhlans, but don't own them yet... I will buy them soon for a Vlad3 list though! Will have to try them with my favorite female Warcaster!

I used to run the infantry all the time with her, short range AOE's had a habit of ruining their day, but the Rifle Corps with Joe and Shatterstorm have been absolutely amazing for me. Great with eSorscha for the 8" walk, 14" guns and can still hit fairly reliably before the enemy closes, and Suppressing Fire has been very nice for board control, and making fast light infantry go around or just die trying to cross. And, being able to dictate how I want stealthed infantry to cross the board on their way to me is nice, as most stealthed infantry has fairly light ARM values.

The Koldun Lord is there mainly for preventing Disruption in Beast, I have had it happen to me only twice, but getting Beast disrupted right before feat turn is insanely aggravating. And, with him there I can still load Beast up with four focus, cast Boundless Charge and still be able to upkeep Iron Flesh.

Yea, Saxon probably isn't the best call, but I was thinking of if I ran the Black Dragons, I could still have them run and pop mini feat, or just have them advance 8" with the Kovnik, mini feat to be ARM 22, be a pain to remove, and still be able to get Pathfinder on my next turn for their charge.

Thing is, with an 8" (or 7" is better) walk, and an 8" spray/shot, your 15" threat should outthreat any short ranged AOE like a grenade or something, and you can just spread out so large AOEs won't take too much of a toll on you. The spray allows them to threaten stealth troops, and when combined with Freezing Grip you'll wipe out Satyxis and what not easy as pie, just make sure not every single one of them is engaged, and freeze/spray/move on. You may be more comfortable with them, and if you are then too easy, but I personally prefer the synergy they gain from being paired with Sorscha to the sort-of-synergy the riflemen get.

Ok I think you have a misunderstanding of how Power Booster works. He doesn't prevent disruption, he allows it to remove the condition. This would happen after allocation, as it is in his activation, so if you got disrupted before feat turn you still wouldn't have a loaded Beast on your feat turn. Similarly, you can only add focus to Beast if he has no focus already on him from your warcaster, so you won't be able to load Beast up, cast BC and upkeep IF without Sylys in the list for the free upkeep. You'd be able to get 3 focus, BC and upkeep IF, but you are already getting that without this guy in the list, he changes nothing there.

Hope that helps

Ohhhh, I get ya! Yea, the Koldun Lord is kind of a bust than haha. What would you replace him and Saxon Orrick with?

What would you think of putting in a Mortar Crew and War Dog instead of the Koldun Lord and Saxon?

One would be Sylys Wyshnalyrr for sure, but as I said that is because I love using the Freezing Grip. I'd replace the Koldun with him, and as for Saxon....Manhunter perhaps? Widowmaker Marksman? Manhunter is better on feat turn, Marksman will let you clear lanes if they throw a random chaff guy in the way.

Or Ragman haha, try and get him in there for the dark shroud, something like +4 damage for someone like Beast on feat turn haha. I have 0 experience with him though, but I've heard some people say he's fun to use.

Haha, I just really hate Sylys' model, I have never used him because of that. Okay, so, maybe Sylys and pull over Gorman from the eIrusk list, giving him Eiryss1 and a War Dog instead of the Koldun Lord and Gorman.

Oh right I didn't realise that you hated the model. Don't get it if you don't want it ha, Sorscha can work alright with a War Dog instead, then she could take eEiryss as well to try and knock off any upkeeps that are stopping her doing the damage she wants to do.

You know, I do like the idea of running eEiryss and a Dog with Sorscha. But, she does have a way of making a unit easier to hit, and most of what I plan to be taking with Sorscha seems to hit fairly hard as it is. So, I think I am going to give Sylys and Gorman to Sorscha's list, and eEiryss and a Gobber Tinker to Irusk's list to help keep Behemoth's Bombards firing by repairing his Sub Cortex if crippled and using eEiryss to Arcane Interference. Which Eiryss do you think would be better for Irusk?

Personally I think e does a better job than p in almost every match up, but that may be a hang up from my Cygnar days. I still take e far more than p though.

Just wondering, would this list for eSorscha be a step in the right direction.

eScorscha -6/-6
Beast 09 11/5
IF Uhlans 11/16
WGRC 8/24
Joe 2/26
Aiyana & Holt 4/30
Gorman 2/32
Kayazy Eliminators 3/35

I decided that Gorman is better suited to Sorscha instead of Irusk, reading about the Eliminators I think that they would go pretty well with her as well. They look like oodles of fun on the feat turn, would you take them, a Mortar or Yuri?

Here is what I came up with for eIrusk.

eIrusk -5/-5
Behemoth 13/8
Great Bears 5/13
BD Pikemen 10/23
IF Kovnik 2/25
Widowmakers 4/29
WM Marksman 2/31
eEiryss 3/34
Gobber Tinker 1/35

I like eEiryss for knocking off upkeeps/animi to make things easier for the Bears and Pikemen to hit, disrupting 'jacks and being a plain nuisance. The Tinker is there to keep Behemoth going strong for those sweet, sweet AOE's, and being a medium based model to block LOS, charge lanes and Tramples to key models/Irusk. I like the Black Dragon Pikemen with Irusk better so they can brick at ARM 22, Preicion Strike for disabling systems, and Irusk can place a Pathfinder template so they can get where they need while shielding the Widowmakers and Great Bears.

Changing Beast out for Conquest eliminates your fear of disruption all together. Colossal s are immune to it.

Very true, I am just a bit hesitant to go with Conquest right now until I know more about what the new Khador Colossal is going to have for rules and abilities.
