I've got a tourney coming up next weekend and would love some feed back on this list
The only endtimes rules being used are that lords and heros can be up to 50% no units over 500pts or over 80models.

So basic thoughts/strategies and whatnots

the lord,mounted paladin and bsb go into the 8 man strong kotr
lord has a rerollable 1+ save,causes fear(good against fear checks via incoming attacks)
bsb has a 1+rerollable save
mounted paladin has onetime 2+save against anything.
unit will have a straight up 4+combat res before dice are rolled,,,unit bannerwarbanner, bsb a
virtue.

foot lord goes into the MAA as does the foot damsel
foot lord has 3+ save and is there for ld checks and for some extra attacks
damsel makes them all cause terror and give the maa's a ward save,,,,(insert evil laugh)
9 strong kotr has a magic resistance 1/4+ward save
ke are immune to physiology on the charge

bowman are there ,well because I have them and they can pick off wounds here or there,protect my trebs or pick on chaff units and during set up allow me to put smaller units out while seeing where my bigger stuff needs to go

pagi's go in for outflanking,warmachine/ lone wizard hunting

trebs sit on either board edge bracketting the board with large rocks to chuck at big uglies

Right, few things.


Firstly, remove the costs of individual upgrades from your list, otherwise GW will find you and they will Squat you.

Personally, I'd drop two of the damsels and bring along a Prophetess. Having a Lvl 4 is very good. You also don't say which lores you are taking. But all three lores are good for a lvl4, but Heavens tends to be the most popular.

Your lord isn't very optimal, he causes fear but doesn't hit very hard. Seeing as he has the Virtue of Heroism. Try and find points for the Sword of Swift Slaying, the more hits you have, the more chance you get of Heroic Killing Blow.

I'd also drop one of the Paladins, probably the foot one. For his cost, he doesn't do an awful lot. He is effectively a 105pt Chaos Warrior, which is no where near worth it. Character wall works best when you take up the front 3 models of a lance formation. Use his points to upgrade a Damsel.

Find a way to give the bowmen braziers, use them to target units with Regen, then drop Trebuchet rocks on their faces.

I see your point about my lord,,,pondering how to switch him up atm he is geared to staying alive,has hkb,ignores it and poison attacks and has a 1+rerollable save,,,,could drop the foot lord but would hate for my block of peasants to leg it,,,hmmmms

i prefere to have my magic casters spread out vs a sole wizard as i use the magic phase to augment my units rather than attack,,,as for lores

the mounted lvl 2 will most likely go with beasts to go with the signature spell to add 1 strength and 1 toughness to the unit of knights and paladins and lord,

thinking the other two will go with life.

I agree on the Lvl 4, I also wouldnt bother with any non magic foot heroes, but thats just IMO

I suppose for my lord I could drop the sword and mantel ,just not sure how wide spread poison attacks are any more for a sword of anti heros for the +1 strength and +1 attack per opposing character

If I were to drop the foot lord I could add a couple more knights,bump up the lvl1 to a 2 and add blazers to the archers,which would leave me like 7pts
