Alright guys, I mentioned this in a couple threads but now I have it together to show off.

This is my take on the Exocrine.

So for starters, the torso is a Carnifex. The head is a fex with tusks with a fex spike added to the head and hive/tyrant guard scything talons added to it. (I wanted to make sure it was a very distinct head.

The tail is from a harpy/crone with more scything talons added. The rear legs are from a toxicrene, the front walking legs are tervigon with an extra section added on from some large fex scything talons. The front scything talons are the smaller pair from a fex.

The bio plasmic cannon is a rupture cannon with spikes and bits clipped off and re green stuffed into place. I used smaller venom sacs positioned around the head of the cannon to give it 6 eyes ( since the gun is the intelligent part I figure it should have some eyes. I am CRAZY proud of the way this turned out. I need to clean up some of the gs and add a little more before prime/painting but it's just awesome to me and I think reads as a exocrine, no mistake.

Here are some shots for size comparison.

And the Biovore...

Made from a hive guard with some spikes added to the head from a monstrous creature venom cannon (again I want to make the heads different and distinct). A stranglethorn cannon with added armor bits for the spore mine launcher. The head crest from a fex kit added to the tail tip.

What do you guys think!

Oh yeah! the Biovores smaller scything arms come from hormagaunts. Not that they get to use them.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

While I'm not a fan of models which excessively overhang their bases there is no denying how cool that thing looks. Really nice conversion.

The Biovore looks a little too beefy for my tastes. Like he'd be more comfortable getting stuck in melee than firing artillery from far off. He'd be a brilliant alternative take on a Hive Guard though.

Overall I really like what you've done. You've got a knack for Nid converting

Thanks! I REALLY hate the normal exocrine. It looks like a dumpy turtle to me. I think the torso is positioned and modified in such a way that it does not immediately read as a fex torso. Something I was shooting for. I was hoping it would come out like it's own model and not be easily read as it's base pieces.

That thing is massive...and it looks really cool so far. I dig the movement in the pose and the head looks like its angry at even having to move instead of being able to just sit back and blow things away. I also like that the profile with the massive cannon and long tail gives it an almost shark like silhouette even with the huge fore legs. Keep the updates coming as you work on it for sure.

Thank you. I spent the rest of today building the biovores brothers. But really at this point the Exocrine is my prize model. I have stuff coming now to build a malanthrope next. Fex torsos are so damn useful. It's a tervigon tail on a fex torso to get that hunched look and more appropriate height then the Hive Tyrant fly tail creates.. Hormagaunt talons for the arms and I am thinking toxicrene face tentacles attached to some head I haven't decided on yet along with a bunch of GS modeling to flesh it out. After how well this exocrine turned out I am really excited to keep kitbashing.

Everyone else feel free to comment! I really want genuine feed back. If there are things you don't like or I did wrong please tell me. These are my first kitbashes. I want advice so I learn.

That "exocrine" is quite sweet of a model, though if I may say...

I saw him and immediately thought "that's the best tyrannofex I have ever seen".
