Thank you! It was a bit of a challenge to make the banner look good without drawing attention away from Polux. It's cool that you noticed!

I especially like all the attention to the filigree and details of the Draco transport.

And Pollux looks awesome. I think FW made it tough for painters to put a model who is clad in yellow armor next to a banner that is traditionally...yellow. You're right, it just wants to draw attention from Pollux, but you've done a great job avoiding that.

My only criticism would be the lights around Pollux's base; you've got a nice OSL effect going, but it's pretty flat. A small shot of white or very light blue in the middle would give it some nice depth.

Congrats on starting your own commission service, and good luck.

Thank you for the kind words. The Dracosans are phenomenal models to paint. The filigree was so so time consuming, but it really paid off in the end.

I completely agree about the OSL on the lights. Part of my hesitance to go further was the fear of losing the focus on Polux, but also that my airbrush had started to act up a little and I didn't want to risk having bad OSL on the base! That would certainly detract from the overall composition. Now that I'm thinking about it more I may go back with a sky blue for the depth; I think that's a good idea. Thank you. White would be too harsh I think.

Second half of assault squad and the tactical squad

Finished Space Wolves commission. Really enjoyed this project, and I'm looking forward to more Wolves in my near future!

I just my hands on the Space wolves that LMP did for me. And they are fantastic. I handed off some more things for him to do and I can't wait for the forge world goodies to come through.

Great communication, progress photos, and the models look just as good in person as they do in the photos. Was able to flawlessly match the stuff I currently have. If you are going to have him match to stuff you have, I highly recommend you actually send him a model so he can better match.

Finished Blood Angels Land Raider Commission. I was a little nervous about getting the red right, as I haven't used Badger Minitaire's reds too much. I have to say I think I nailed it! The client wanted it close to the Codex Astartes traditional color scheme, though I tried to break up the red a little bit with the yellow gun housings. Really happy with it, and had fun doing it!

Salamanders Firedrake Terminators. Absolutely a joy to paint!

Nice job man. Those marines are supreme and the salamanders are really cool.

Latest project finished: More Space Wolves! I'm really enjoying these Sons of Russ (which is good, because there are a lot more coming down the pike!). For all the grief Logan Grimnar on Stormrider gets, it was a lot of fun to paint. I decided to mount it on a Runic Mountain base from Secret Weapon Miniatures to help him stand out a little more from the rank and file. It took some doing, but turned out really well I think. I loved painting the Caestus, as it's one of my favorite (if not my absolute favorite) vehicle in 40k. I wanted the nacelles to match the unit it would be carrying most often: Blood Claws.

And some vehicles. Diemos Predator is magnetized for all 3 options.

Thank you! It was a fun challenge to paint a nice clean crisp black but get the vibrant reds too. Working on some more Blood Angels now, but the more traditional tactical squad, which is fun!

Finished up a quick Blood Angels Tactical Squad, no basing at the request of the client. Also did a quick re-paint of a Razorback, but without stripping the paint first. Actually turned out pretty well I think! Just realized I forgot the headlights on the Razorback. Dammit. Good thing the client is a friend so I can get it back and finish the job!

Finished Captain Karlean a bit ago but finally got some good pictures of him. Especially pleased with how the gems and the Bieber hair turned out.

SQUATS!!! Love this project. It's a Squat Warband led by a Bounty Hunter for a Necromunda type game. The client gave me a lot of leeway, which is always nice, and I proposed a palette of earth tones but didn't want them to get washed out. I think they turned out really well!

Congrats on the skills and end results. Absolutely in love with the way you paint gold, have you detailed the process in one of your WIP posts?

That said, yo ujust gave me the idea of posting a topic here as well and only uploading the completed pics

Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate it. As for the gold, I use Scale75's Scalecolor Metal N' Alchemy Gold series of paints. Just traditional basecoats-highlight-highlight. They're just brilliant paints. A little tutorial would be cool. I'll do one when I get my hands on the new Warhammer: Age of Sigmar box. Plenty of gold to go around in that box!

Wow, it has been a while since I updated this post! Sorry, second child in 12 months will really cramp the ol' hobbying schedule. I have managed to get some work done, however, and will post soon!
