I have an Upcoming Apocalypse Game, 3500 Points per Side.
I want to take part with my blood angels.
Everyone from the 3 other participants has at least 1 LOW(Biotitan,Marauder Destroyer, Hierodule, Revenant Titan, Cobra) and im looking for a LOW myself.
I own 2 Knights, a Paladin and a Errant.
However i feel those are maybe not strong enough to counter whichever team im facing.
So i took a look at the warhound titan, the reaver, a thunderhawk gunship and the fire raptor.
I realy dont know what to buy... funds at the moment are only enough for one of em...
any advice?
my other troops are very cc oriented

At 3500 points, you should consider Angel's Fury. T1 charge from drop pod can be devastatingly effective, and you have enough points to take DC, Sanguinary Guard, etc.

Anyhow, if you're going to buy a super duper FW model, I would buy the thunderhawk, because it is possibly the coolest model ever produced by FW

I 2nd the Thunderhawk suggestion. That model is awesome! Plus, it would look extra badass all blood red! Put a Turbo-laser on it and you'll be knocking Titans over in no time!

As DA you are gonna struggle against heavy armor so I would suggest getting an option that addresses that. Possibly get a few tri las predators to zoom around the board and target their vehicles. Other than that, make the best of the best BA units like death company, sanguinary guard and assault melta all in drop pods, all buffed. Dante in a unit of 10 Sanguinary Guard with 2 fists and a priest should be nasty.

As far as forgeworld, I'm throwing my vote behind Thunderhawk as well.

so thats before plastic sisters of battle but after forge world being sold in games workshop stores?

My head says Titan, but my heart says Thunderhawk, it's not the most powerful, but it is gorgeous and killy enough to damage a titan.

I'd rely on lots of drop melta/bike melta to deal with any LoW and then use a Typhon to Pie plate of death anything else. If the opponents are bringing heavier stuff then they'll be focusing on each others LoWs and your Typhon probably won't be shot at at first. Also when it does go boom, you'll have lost 370pts (with ceremite) where as when their LoW go boom they'll have lost a third/a quarter of their force.

Even if i love the thunderhawk, when looking at how i could use drop pods and a typhon in regular games my head says i should buy 3 predators for sniping The superheavies from others and wreck havoc with the tyhon, thanks for the advice so far, gonna post some ics later :-)
