I'm looking for thoughts on any weaknesses you might see for a competitive environment. Obviously it is deathstar focued with all the characters joining the lychguard for an unstoppable grinder unit. Let me know your thoughts.

One question first, did you mean Orikan or is Orankir a FW lord or something? I don't play Necrons (yet ) so I don't know.

I really wish you had Obyron in here. His second veil really provides the mobility you need for this thing. Getting stuck on the wrong side of the board is going to be your biggest problem. Also, Knights are a problem for you. Sure, Warscythes are great, but knights are swinging first and you're so slow that AdLance is going to get the charge on you before you can pick them off one at a time. I think that's why most people are going sword and board on Lychstar with Obyron and a Lord w/ scythes to tackle the big stuff. With Orikan and the sword and board you've got great invuls rerolling 1s.

Just my .02. But I think Obyron is essential and I'd probably go sword and board.

I don't recall the point value of the Royal court, but i would probably drop that for some ghost arks.

He's creating a deathstar with the Lychguard; he needs the court to maximize its utility.

Knights wont be a problem cause he can gauss it down. But honestly the ghost arks would help more than the royal court. You could get almost two ghost arks for that cost.

Anyone with pie plates is gonna wreck you though.

I'm going to say this as politely as I can. Respectfully, none of this advice is even remotely accurate. You cannot "Gauss Down" an Adamantine Lance (By far the most common way to encounter knights in the competitive meta). They have rerollable invul saves and will often be 3++ to begin with. Even if he was in rapid fire range with all his gauss with say, 2 ghost arks in support and hadn't lost a single Necron warrior he'd be putting out 80 gauss shots. That's about 53 hits and let's be generous and say 9 glances. He'll save 6 and reroll leaving ONE hull point removed. Then, the entire lance will be in charge range. They will template him, charge him, stomp him and sweep him. Game over.

Speaking of pie plates though, they're not very effective against Necrons in general. Even those that ignore armor saves and cause instant death (so a battle canon for example) is going to score 3 hits against properly spaced warrior squads AT BEST. That's 3 wounds at best and 2 dead Necrons with the 5+++ from ID. Two. That's assuming no resorb, no Orikan, no cryptek to keep the RP at 4+.

He is trying to create a deathstar which when built properly with multiple veils, multiple warscythes and swords and boards can be very effective competitively. 2 ghost arks are not his solution. If the OP wants the deathstar, he has to commit the points to maximize its utility.

You should try to get a res orb onto the overlord or the lord, it really helps if you get into combat with something that ignores armor and goes before you. I would drop the 3rd warrior squad for a res orb (maybe two) and another 5 man immortal team.
