After getting my butt continuously handed to me on silver platter (which is partly my fault as I always tend to build for Maelstrom without realising, yet my usual Tau player likes Eternal for gunline reasons with the Firebase ) I decided to stop playing Nids for a while and start using my Necrons a bit since I've finally got the models for them and would like to see my army make a save now and again.

This is the 1250 list I came up with, not tailored towards Tau just what I thought could be good. I did want to run OrikanStar but at this points level it is...well you don't get a lot left to spend after the Reclaimation and Command.

Reclaimation Legion:
Overlord w/ Staff of Light = 80
10x Warriors = 130
10x Warriors = 130
5x Immortals = 85
4x Tomb Blades w/ Nebuloscopes, TL Gauss = 80

Destroyer Cult
Destroyer Lord w/ Nightmare Shroud, Staff of Light = 145
3x Destroyers = 120
3x Destroyers = 120
3x Destroyers = 120
3x Heavy Destroyers = 150

Deathmarks = 90

So the Dlord would go with the Deathmarks for Preferred Enemy when arriving from Reserves, Warriors and Immortals would hopefully Infiltrate with Master of Ambush Warlord Trait (if it can be rolled) and the Overlord would either join the Immortals and keep the foot patrol alive with the bonus or sit on a back field objective. Tomb Blades zip around hopefully killing stuff.
