Thought i'd start a blog for my Knight build as I feel it's gunna be a real adventure

This is where I'm at after 2 evenings of work. Main body and legs built and the base detailed and textured with PVA glue and gravel. Grabbed a can of leadbelcher spray yesterday too so that'll be a godsend when paint work begins on the skeleton

Added a bolt from inside the waist up into the torso so that It can be taken off for transportation and can be posed during games etc.

Good work on some of the additions Floyd, the bolt is a great idea for transportation. Nice start on the base too, good luck with it.

Thank you SJM!

Few more progress shots. Lots of drybrushing silver, picking out brass parts, agrax washes etc. Things should pop a bit more when I go in with the oil paints.

Those are some well shaded metals and very well done eyes. The base is interesting enough without detracting too much from the Knight, will watch with interest.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

Few more bits done over the last few days. Chainsword blue casing highlighted, shoulder shield all finished up and installed, stubber dome added and the thermal cannon all finished up (apart from scorch marks).

Also started to basecoat the armour parts

This Looks Great!! How did you paint your enamel / bone coloring? Would you mind giving a step by step for the colors? I just picked up two knights in anticipation of the warden kit!

That looks really cool. That was a good idea with the bolt holding the two halves together. Thanks for the step by step painting. I plan to build and paint one later this year as a small stepping stone to a Warhound Titan.
