Good Morning guys!
I have same problems with the citadel wash coelia greenshade.
I started to paint my WE army and I use as a base for the leather (boots, armor, shoulder straps) the dryad bark washed with coelia greenshade and then highlighted.
However the effect was rather shiny and glossy (first picture)

Reading on the forum I found the solution: shake well the wash and then apply.
I tried this solution on a new model, but the effect is totally [ different.
The brown is gone and now the leather parts have a gray-bluish color.

It is normal, there is an alternative solution?
Thanks for any advice!!

If the wash is new then vigorous shaking should sort you out, if it's quite old then you need to buy yourself some kind of matte medium. I now add Vallejo Matte Medium to basically all my GW washes now (and some of my Army Painter ones).

the wash is fairly new...
So to avoid that "covering bluish" effect - but also avoiding the gloss effect - I have to add to the not shaken wash some Vallejo Matte Medium (or citadel lahmian medium) ?
I understand correctly?
Thanks in advance!

Ummmm... that color shade does have a bluish green tint to it so Im not surprised its coming out blue. Also once you throw on purity seal it should take away the shine.. but yes shaking the shades will help.

You can also pick up a battery powered mixer from amazon for like around $10 if you want a really good stir.
