Can someone tell me about these "leaked" rules for the new tau codex?

I'm a bit worried about my little blue guys getting new rules after hearing about things like 5th ed nids'. I heard there were some leaked rules but when I searched I couldn't find anything. Anyone willing to give me a link or share what they know?

Haven't heard anything about the Tau getting new rules this year...
This year, so far, I'm tracking that after Eldar we're getting Assassins, Genestalers, Tyranids, and a potential for Space Marines.

Are you sure about this, mate? I've heard about the Genestealers Cult, but nothing about my good Nids. Our codex is not too old, we got it at the beginning of 2014.

I've seen a decent bit of it on bell of lost souls. I also saw them talking about new models and redone crisis suits.

I get the rumors before BOLS copies them and from better sources. The only thing we know is that battlesuits are getting a remake. If this brings a new codex, it's not known. The kroot mercs book is possible, but since no ones talking about new kroot molds for things like krootox, hounds and knarloc, it's not likely atm.

Just because some text is floating around about genestealer cults doesn't mean we defacto are getting tau or something.

Not sure of the source, but I do remember seeing that Nids were supposedly following Genestealer cults. One can hope, and GW seems to want to update everything released before 7th dropped.

Honestly, forget new Tau or Nids. I'm waiting for a GS Cult codex.

On a more serious note, I just don't see much of a reason why they'd need to update it now. New minis sound plausible, but a new 'dex as a whole doesn't.

AFAIK, Tau won't receive a new codex before October. So you're safe for now.

there have been rumors of a new tau codex later this year, and as such there have been wishlisting threads popping up, but I've not heard any confirmations.

If GW really is throwing game balance out the window, I'd love for them to fix Tau CC (so we don't avoid it) by making EMP grenades StrD. \troll

I heard farsights sword will have a new laser blast (lile asterion moloc) that is strength D,Template,fleshbane,armourbane,shred,and is poisoned (2+)

Hes also a 5W Eternal Warrior and every kill with his laser D sword replenishes all wounds to him and his unit...Hey its fluffy!

I've been told that the Tau codex is out of stock for FLGS to order in which could suggest a codex but it is FAR from a confirmation.

Hmmmm. So every already decent book will get redone.... and CSM is stuck with Khorne Daemonkin, the least played Chaos god, that I have no interest in.....

Oh, and Orks get their Ghazghkull Supplement that makes Mob Rule even worse.
