Hello all, I've just started playing trollbloods and I've been using the krielstone but I have trouble with it keeping up with my army. I've seen people say you can run and still use the aura, but that doesn't compute given the rules for running. Do most people charge then use the aura? Thanks in advance!

By my reading, you could do it prior to running, but not afterwards. This is because, when you finish running, your activation immediately ends. And since it isn't an action or a spell, you should be good to do it first.
This is similar to the Boomhowlers and their fell calls, which is where I'm drawing this opinion from.

You pop the Aura before you run.
The aura is an ability you can use at any time. Now running ends your activation immediately after the movement is done, but you can do abilities that can be activated at any time before your move.
So you pop the aura, and then you run.
There are some abilities which are explicitly forbidden from being used during an activation in which you run, like feats or casting spells, but the Aura is not one of them.

You should check out the rules for running in Primal. There's a specific list of things you can't do if you run, so if it's not on that list then you're in the clear.

Excellent! Unfortunately I don't yet have the main rulebook since I bought the all in one box which arrives Monday, so many of my questions stem from that and the reliance on the quick start rules.
Concerning the fell calls, would the range for a call be determined prior to the run? I.e. if you want to war cry a unit they need to be within 5 prior to running?
Thanks!

Fell Calls are similar to the Krielstone. You must use it before you run, which means you measure range at that time.
Afterwards, he can run somewhere else all he wants. The Fell Call will still effect the unit even if he's no longer in range.
