Hello all!

Yes, this is slightly cheesy, but its for tournament and NOT FOR FUN. though i may be having fun with it... haha

I have recently had to force myself to become a harsher player when it comes to competitive games (mainly because if the panzie eldar shenanigans going on!)

so here is 1500 of warboss goodness.

CAD:
Zhadsnark (warlord)
Warboss, bike, power klaw, da lucky stick

9 warbikers with nob
9 warbikers with nob

Ork Horde Detachment:
Warboss, mega armour, boss pole
Warboss, mega armour, boss pole
Warboss, mega armour, boss pole

10 boyz with nob
10 boyz with nob
10 boyz with nob

Battlewagon with ram
Battlewagon with ram
Battlewagon with ram

It is a delivery system that i have come up with because the worst nightmare for my opponents is increasingly becoming a warboss hidden warboss that smashes face. Well i normally just have 1 warboss, and he usually smashes face and sometimes swings the game for me single handily. BUT.... what if i had 5 warbosses??

I could swap the boyz for a load of grots instead and buff the bike squads to 10, and add some rokkits to the battlewagons?

Zhadsnark makes them troops if he is the warlord, which he is. Find the rules for him on forge world downloads

How important is it to be warbosses? You could have a few Meks eating challenges while Nobz with PK still smash things at s9 AP2 with one less attack, still gets it done. You couldn't do this for the bikes of course but the Battlewagon boyz could use a few more gitz or even a whole squad of lootas somewhere for long ranged weight of fire.

I am the kinda ork that takes his own washing machine apart, puts new bearings in it, then puts it back together, and it still works.

What if... you put a warboss *inside* another warboss?

I've found its quite important to have some bosses because PK Nobz just die against characters, whereas a megaboss can stand a chance

What about bully boyz instead? slap them in a trukks and with bike's youre enemy will have to much to shoot at . 3 wagonz only for delovery is to expensive I think . Also why not all bikers than? You could attach some to defkoptas and scout bounch of those in front! Altho I love ma bosses I used to run 2 of them

though this is true and it could happen, the warboss is far more powerful and is MUCH more survivable than the nob, has an extra attack, hits on 3s for the most part and will always wound on 2+. im keeping in mind that the units can take on anything because of the warboss, but a nob cant kill a wraithknight in 2 turns

this would defeat the point of hiding a power klaw because any AP 2 weapons will take out the manz. if i wanted manz, id rather take min squads in trucks to create more MSU s. I could add more on bikes with deff koptas, but i dont have any :/ your right though, that could work as well! I personally prefer the armour of the battlewagon, even though it is quite expensive.

Exploring the idea of deff koptas is very interesting though, and i will have to look into that a little more

I love this idea. I feel like WB spam is Orks real only chance in the meta, as cheesy as it is. S10 AP2 is just too good. The fact that they're so cheap is amazing.

I was toying around with a WB delivery system a while back, and at such a low point total it does really REALLY well.

I'm not sure where you're "Hiding" the PK's? That's my only hang up

Im not saying that's bw is a bad delivery ,but with so many points spend on them you might get overwhelmed when you there. For example imagine if youl get against some deamons or tyranids you will feel those mising points in cc because those wount spend almost 350 points on transport , Its just so daunting to lose cc fights as orks ( kuz we da best in fighting) also biggest thing in bully boyz is fearless so you wount lose combat if enemy kills 5 lookout sir boyz , and youre boss misses couple of hits, and they also hit on 3 they we 5 , just sayin if you skipp bws I think you could get 2 MANZ misles to that wall of threats ,

Meks taking a challenge can hide Power Klaws with application of rules.

I see what you mean, and it's a really well made point!!

I will design a new list soon and see if I can fit in another warboss with the use of a second ork you're detatchment or some mans missiles like you say thanks!!

In response to your question about not hiding the klaws:

However, if I used trucks instead of battle wagons I won't have space for a MEK because of the mega armour on the warboss.

Thanks all for your responses! I'll be working on an updated list and probably have it up tonight!
