Greetings people,

I can do with a hand if anyone is willing. I am aiming for a 2,000pts competitive list, but as I have been out of action writing army lists for a while I could do with some constructive criticism. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

JD

My friend, you need more core units in there to be accepted in a game

And you now can play Undead Legions (which means you can mix VC with TK)

Feeling rather red-faced at the moment... Just going to go away, recalculate, hang my head in shame and then come back...

I've edited the list and made it legal, still completely embarrassed that I made a mistake about minimum core points -.- thanks Nuno for pointing it out!

The glaring issue for me is the lack of a lvl 4, (also I think your VL is too many points, check the numbers). Your character builds aren't the most common around and I find without the guaranteed re-rolls to hit they don't quite cut it.

The other thing I'd say is the skeleton unit is too small to achieve much really so why not swap it out for a zombie unit and 2x5 dire wolves? That gives you more drops and a better bunker for your necromancer.

Those considerations aside your main blocks will struggle to do damage without magical support (hence the need for level 4) but they should take a bit of a grind to get through.

Hexwraiths are thought to be subpar nowadays because of the new Wood Elves and all the magic missiles around but you can make them work.

I've waffled a bit but, in summary, infantry vampires can work but you need good magic to have a chance at being competitive. (The BK bus is still the net list really)
