I am not good at painting models and i thought that i would begin with the assassins in the execution force (specifically the culexus and calledus), Can someone give me some tips and guidelines (maby what paint i should use)?

If you can get a copy of this weeks White Dwarf they have a pretty good painting guide in it.

Id suggest with brushes, but you could also use your fingers, sponges or cut up potatoes. Sarcastic comment out of the way, id suggest practicing on some bog standard dudes before going all out on a detailed set of models like the assassins, which you definately want to look tip top. The internet has billions of painting tutorials, so google the hell out of it and soak it in

I would probably start with the other models from the game. The Chaos Marines are super easy to paint. After practicing staying in the lines on them, the cultists, while being relatively simple, have enough details on them to practice, before moving on to the more challenging Assassins.

Have fun working on them. If you're not confident enough to try line highlighting on them (I know I'm certainly not that good at it) there are solid drybrush/wash techniques you can use to highlight and pull out detail. Certainly not award winning, but more than serviceable and it gives a presentable tabletop quality finish. Just don't be afraid to mess up. As long as you don't physically break or scar the mini, it can always be stripped (with care) and started anew

Canada eh?

Think of the assasinorum as vampire killers addicted to fame glory and money (throne gelt)

So Id say go for black, wine red, gold, brass, silver and some bone or white.

Depending on the paints you use the names will be diffrent.

Yeah... Not the best person to talk to no more, great fandom(sarcasm)

To take what Queen Anne said a little further, to really make them pop, maybe a light drybrushing of a brighter red (or even an orange), and then a wash to agrax or nuln oil to help tie them together would help a bit. Don't be afraid if the colors contrast a bit much before the wash, it'll mute the colors a bit.

For the metallic parts, a wash of agrax again, and small highlights of runefang steel or ironbreaker around the edges (very thin, use the side of the brush when you go around the edge) will help set them off a bit.

In all, pretty decent looking marines to start with, though. Be proud of the work you've done.
