I am trying to find the difference between the warpwolf and the satyr, specifaclly the feral and the riphorn. They seam to be geared for about the same heavykillers just go about it slightly differently. However I feel like I am missing something. Are there any differences I am missing. About the feral/riphorn and warpwolves/satyrs in general??

Thanks Dakka :-)

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

The Feral has much more damage output. The Riphorn is a little better for Fury management(free run and charge) and he has Grab and Smash. The Feral's Mat7 really helps out a lot, although you need to deliver him. The Riphorn is a little more pillowfisted(but he is the best of the Satyrs)

Do you want a no frills beatstick or a utility beast is basically the difference.

In general, Warpwolves>Satyrs because they have better damage output. And for the wolves the general hierarchy is Stalker>Feral=Pureblood. pKreuger can give the Feral Reach with Lightning Tendrils which is always fun. The Stalker however has a longer base threat range, comes with built in Pathfinder, and has Berserk, and the best Animus.

Typically, Circle battle groups are made up of the following.

Stalker
2nd Stalker or Feral
Gorax

Maybe instead of a Feral you take a Riphorn because you want its chain-attack.

Imagine your lists are like a hot night club. The Warpwolf Stalker is the owner and your Warlock is the hot celebrity everyone wants to get in and see. The other Warbeasts have to meekly go up to the bouncer and ask if they're allowed to join too. If the Stalker has room because Ghettorix was busying partying a different club, sometimes the Stalker will have given their name to the bouncer and they get let in. Usually this happens if the warlock in question has weird tastes and wants to do something specific with slams or is just feeling a certain animus. Most of the time, they get rejected and the bouncer just lets in the Warpwolf Stalker's best buddy: another Warpwolf Stalker (even though they've been waiting way longer, and the stalker isn't even up to the dress code). They spend all night getting drinks from the bartender (A gorax) while chilling with the Warlock talking about how awesome it is that their swords have reach, and how all those losers with a .5" melee range thought they were going to get in somehow.
