We’ve started painting a new army – this time a Tyranid one. At first, we’ve done four test schemes for a customer to pick one that he’ll like mostly:




And after choosing one of them, we’ve started to paint more of the bugs – and we really like the result – how do you like the creatures? There will be much more, more of them – so stay tuned, we’ll be sharing them as well soon!

The one you have chosen is pretty amazing so keep going. I cant imagine how awesome a whole army painted at that level will look

Not crazy about the base on the big bug, but I am just jaded about cork nowadays. But the models themselves are so well-painted, I honestly didn't notice that until my third time look back through.

In all honesty, I'd dull it down just a touch. They look very metallic with such a bright sheen to the chitin but that is personal preference and doesn't change how awesome they are. But, that color scheme for the Mawloc and such is the best of the bunch regardless.

Well, the chitinous effect was brought up as one of the potential schemes and in the end won as the final army scheme - and I agree that it looks even more great on the bigger bugs.

Superb scheme. I love it.

Combines really nice blends but doesn't go too far with pushing contrast. Great use of colour positioning and colour theory.

Probably my favourite out of the 4 colour schemes. Really liking the Trygon. The only thing i could suggest is adding some blood and/or some saliva on the Trygon, gives it that little bit more realism.
