Subject: [X-Wing] Unusual lists for friendly play

Thought I'd get a thread going for your more unusual lists that you've played with just for fun. Non-tournament style games among friends, I find, let you field some of the ships you might never see in more competitive play, and I wanted to hear what's worked (or not worked!) for you.
This past weekend I played against a friend. I almost always field Scum while he's an Imperial player.
His list was:
VT-49 (Chiraneau) w/ Rebel Captive, Ysanne Isard
Firespray (Krassix Trelix) w/ HLC
I decided to try out the worst list I've come up with yet:
M3-A Scyk (Tansarii Point Veteran) w/ PTL, Heavy Scyk (cannon), Mangler cannon
M3-A Scyk (Tansarii Point Veteran) w/ PTL, Heavy Scyk (cannon), Mangler cannon
Starviper (Guri) w/ VI, Virago title, Adv. Proton Torpedos, Autothrusters, Advanced Sensors, Hot Shot Blaster
Basically, I've played against a lot of Imperials and have always found Barrel Rolling to be a frustrating maneuver to deal with. So I came up with a (terrible) scum version of an arc-dodger list!
Now, naturally a VT-49 having a turret AND the Firespray having a secondary arc put my arc dodgers in a bad way. My ships are stupid fragile (11 total hull/shields between them).
I lost the first M3-A when it decided to K turn directly into the path of an oncoming VT-49 Decimator. Only 1 hit and 1 crit made it through my green dice, but the hit stripped my 1 shield and the crit was a Direct Hit! to one-shot my Scyk. Guri held on at 1 hull for awhile thanks to her free Focus when at range 1 of an enemy, but eventually went down to a shot from the HLC that was just outside range 2. My autothrusters would have saved me had I not rolled 3 eyeballs; the only roll that could have killed me. My last Scyk took 3 hits to the face at range 3 and all 4 of my green dice came up blank.
Overall it was a good game. The dice definitely favored me early on, but in the end I left his Firespray at 1 hull and the VT-49 at 4. Not bad for two ships generally considered weakest in the scum list!
Guri can be a monster I think. The free focus at range 1 lets her get away with a bit more since she can Focus as her action to make sure she has both offensive and defensive uses for Focus. Still, a 30 point pilot with 4h/1s is really fragile, even with boost AND barrel roll. Still, it was a fun list. Gave me a bit of an appreciation for the Scyk, even if I recognize it is still really overcosted.
What about you dakka? What silly lists have you flown that ended up doing really well? Or really poorly, but were still fun to fly?

I won a couple of games at our local club with the following;
Emon Azzameen with title, 2 x Prox Mines, 1 x Proton Bomb, K4 Droid and Exp Interface
Syndicate Thug with BTL title and Ion Cannon
2 x Binyate Pirates
It was inspired by reading the Slingshot bombing article but I didn't want to go all out on bombs so filled out the list with routine scum
The first match was against a 3 ship imperial aces list, tooled up Baron, Whisper or Echo with usual toys and Turr Phennir, the whole bombing hijinx
was a hoot, managed to land a prox mine directly on the Baron for 2 damage, caused Turr to have to boost or roll to avoid the mine meaning he missed
his shot for the turn, as for the proton bomb, well managed to direct hit one of my own Z's but it did ping Turr for one, Echo just had bad dice all game and
just got pinged down in slowly against shots that really shouldn't have landed
The second match was against 4 Sigma Squadron's, I think the lower PS and inability to shoot / recloak didnt help, managed to direct hit one off with the proton bomb,
the other bombs didnt' really do any damage but I think did cause some uncloaks to avoid the bombs that left them without shots for a few turns
I'd think I'll give up the Proton Bomb for another Prox Mine, the K4 helped a bit but it could maybe go for another Prox mine on the Y.

By "bad" I feel compelled to point out that at one point I had 6 green dice and failed to roll a single Evade, I'm not sure bad covers it!

Slight bump for a game I played over the weekend.
Opponent was
Carnor Jax
Fel
Tetran
with the usual upgrades.
I decided to try some new things out:
Serissu - Decoy, Cannon Title, Mangler Cannon
Torkil Mux - Autoblaster Turret, Greedo, Inertial Dampeners
Syndicate Thug - Autoblaster Turret, BTL-A4 title, unhinged astromech
Binayre Pirate - Feedback Array
Binayre Pirate - Feedback Array
I've found that I tend to enjoy bigger fleets over small elite fleets. I've never tried the Feedback Array but thought it could be fun. Serissu w/ Decoy combined with Torkil gives me a way to seriously muck with the usual PS bids, but both boosting one of my lower ships AND lowering one of their ships to 0.
I ended up losing Serissu early on (turn 2 I think) before she even got a shot off, but I still pulled out the win thanks to the Feedback Arrays. Holy crap those are amazing if you don't mind sacrificing your own ships a bit. I'm a skaven player, so that's pretty normal for me and 14 point ship that can do 1 automatic damage in any direction at Range 1 is pretty amazing. Certainly better than the Hot Shot for a ship you don't care about. I killed Soontir Fel entirely with Feedback Array damage (there was a big collision that cost a lot of ships actions) and did 2/3 to Carnor with it as well. Torkil Mux played a big part in this, since I was able to lower their PS to 0 and destroy them before they shot down my ships. Tetran Cowell was the only ship that I had to kill with regular shots. It was pretty rough trying to catch him with a Y-Wing and a HWK, but in the end I got him with Autoblaster hits.
