An hour and seventeen minutes? Nobody has time for that. video reports are the worst, I wish we would see more written format stuff. Otherwise it's a lot of wasted hard work for you.

That's your opinion. Some people do have the time.
You think that video taping myself playing a game takes and wastes more time than me doing the same thing but writing down every action both army's take throughout a game?
Just because you like one format doesn't mean everyone likes them. We cater to people who want to see the dice rolls and the movement.
Personally, I can't stand end of turn format bat reps but I'd never tell Winters SEO or StrikingScorpion82 to change their format because "I" wasn't into it.
That line of thinking would be idiotic, immature and selfish .
For what it's worth, an aquantince revealed to me that her boyfriend watches 40k video battle reports, despite never buying a model or playing a game himself.

Whatever blows your skirt up Johnny. If you do it just for the thrill you get out of it, then great, I dig it. But look through the forums. There isn't much (if any) interaction with these epic-length bat reps. So if that's what you're going for (and by posting on a public forum I asssume it is) there are better ways to go about it. I'm telling you, most people don't like this format. It's too long, and that erases the huge entertainment benefit of seeing a disembodied hand move figures and drop cubes on a table.

It's a bit of criticism. Not directed at you, even. Do you need to sit down?
They do great on youtube, because they have an entertaining style, nice armies and terrain, and use some unusual units (winters and brawl are the only people I've seen with fire raptor reports). That doesn't mean they couldn't do better if they were more concise. Put up a disclaimer if you're too fragile to take 2nd hand, atmospheric criticism. Maybe get some tshirt made.

I have no issue with criticism, we look at peoples suggestions all the time. youre immature rude comments are not constructive. you're taking your opinion and stating it as fact. I get it, you don't like long form Battle reports, but MWGs success says otherwise.
