Lots of stuff to get through, around 7 40k armies alone but I figured I would start with terrain as its the only bit of the battlefield that can't be horribly murdered in the first turn before it does anything. These are the start of my city of death and a fantasy set up I'm chipping away at for light skirmish games.

Liking what I see. Makes me want to do some terrain myself.

Wips of more scenery, a crashed Aquila for some rough ground and more pillars. Been working extra shifts so hobby work is slow.

Busy week mostly but found time to crack on with my Black Legion army at long last, these guys will be a modern version of the old 2nd edition idea of a warband being made up of many legions all under one lord. I also don't buy the idea that a World Eater would ever stand still long enough for anyone to respray his armour red so they are in a very beaten up heresy era colour scheme, as are my Plague Marines who are in a very rusted ruined version of the Death Guard colours. The bases on the cult marines arent finished by any stretch of the imagination either.

Oh and heres a poor attempt at a close up on the Lord, I need a proper photo set up.

Haven't posted in a bit, but I looked on gwaahrs project log and that got me thinking about what I could do with my own Mantic battlezones, which lead to this.
