Hey guys i have started to convert up an eldar falcon and i have a question. I really hate how the pulse laser looks, i think it looks like a long brightlance and completly bland. Bad on gw. I think they could of made the pulse laser more exciting. Would it be ok to convert my own variant of pulse laser. And would anyone have a problem playing me with a counts as pulse laser?

avoiding the lorax on Crion

Long as you model it roughly the same size what's the problem?

Not like you gave s vindicator a 6 inch barrel for extra range

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Nice! i cant see why anyone would have a problem with that, pulse lasers are basic armaments anyway that cant be replaced so its not like its going to be confused for another weapon as long as you tell your opponent its a falcon.

Plus the more falcons get used in the 40k the better!

Looks cool. I don't think anyone would have a problem playing with a pulse laser that you modeled. What some people don't enjoy is when someone has one weapon on the model and then says "oh this is a different weapon". You haven't done that here and in fact you've gone the distance to make something unique. Good on you.

Thanks guys. Its nice to have some good feedback. Ive not modeled for advantage or anything like that i just dislike the pulse lasers design. and i agree falcons need more love!!
