The theme behind this list is that The Chaos Sorcerer Lord managed to find a small sample of Archaeons DNA and cloned him. The Hell Pit Abominations represent earlier versions that suffered genetic instability.

If I turned up with 10 Nagashs, a ghoul king and a necromancer and said 'DNA'. would you play it? Personally I'd play it once, but I probably won't ever play against you again, in any system, regardless of the outcome.

Him + Any amount of foot Lords, they all summon any sized units of Chaos (Knights, Warriors, etc)

Or just 10x Nagash. Outnumbered until summoning

If you really wanted to, I'd play it.

It doesn't really hang together narratively, though. I've no problem with someone trying to 'clone' (probably the wrong term for a fantasy setting, but hey) Archaon, and the Hellpit Abominations as 'mistakes' is a cool idea.

The problem is more that Archaon isn't just a dude - the character represented by the Archaon warscroll is carrying a load of unique - as in hand-forged-by-the-gods unique - items, and a 'mere' sorceror lord wouldn't be able to duplicate them.

i'd get bored playing against it.

10 copies of Archaon would be pointless: his big draw is that he allows all models on your side to use their command ability immediately. So...you can use the ability to do a command 10 times, limited only to auto-pass break tests? K...
You'd be better off with one Archaon and multiple lords so you could call in reinforcements. Or multiple daemon princes of Tzeentch to summon tons of daemon princes. You know...something useful.
