Thank you for posting this review and I really enjoyed reading it. I'm still not exactly sure if I'm going to like AoS yet. The free 4 page rules and rules for existing armies are nice but kinda remind me of (IIRC) around 2001 when the old 'Ravening Hordes' book helped players get by following some pretty significant changes until new Army Books came out. I have a feeling that a simple 4 page ruleset won't stay so small when things start to develop further. After all, this is only the basic starter box to a, for better or worse, brand new game. I'm not buying into it yet, but I'm not totally writing it off either. Thankfully I can still try the rules with my Empire Army for now, I can try to find people with still play with the old rules, or I can take my models over to the Kings of War system.

The models do look cool. I am a fan of chaos. I'm not sure about the sig-marines in fantasy though. They don't seem to fit into the fantasy world as well as they are a bit futuristic.

I also noticed there seems to be size creep going on too... the models are getting freaking huge.

Some of you asked to see the Chaos models and a size comparison - just done!

I don't have any of the current Chaos so does anyone know how models like the Khorne Wrathmongers/Skullreapers scale compared with either the new Chaos or the Orc?

They were designed to be put alongside the new line if I recall, there's some pictures floating from AOS of them next to them. I'll try to dig them up.

Ok, so STormcast Eternals are just ridiculously big humans, but base on some of the chaos humans, they are still the same scale as all the previous warhammer armies?

I'm not prejudiced, I hate everyone equally

Correct.

And some of the Stormhost are just souls bound to armor and not actually human. There's a mix. Its whatever Sigmar could get his hands on.
