recently I got myself a Tau army that includes some FW models. And I would like to get some more. But I'm not sure how does it work with shipping overseas, from UK to USA
So, my questions are:
Are there any additional expenses when ordering from FW ? (besides the 15% they charge for shipping and fees)
What are your experiences and how quick did the shipment got to you?

Not from FW. They bill in GBP so your bank may charge you a currency conversion fee (mine is 3% IIRC) or use an exchange rate that is more favorable to them than the "fair" one.

Shipping time is about two weeks from the time I get the "order shipped" email. It's always at least a week, but rarely two or more. And of course this is outside FW's control, so shipping times may vary depending on the same factors that cause shipping delays for anything else.

Yeah, no additional charges except conversion fees charged by your bank or credit card. Speed of shipping depends on a lot of factors, some not so obvious: what kit you're purchasing, FW's show/events schedule, etc. For example, I live on the East coast, so my last two purchases have taken one week to arrive (mostly older kits, early Spring timeframe) and three weeks to arrive (a couple more popular kits, part of their free shipping voucher promo).

7 days is lightning fast from the UK, but I would imagine 2-4 weeks is a perfectly reasonable timeframe for shipping.

The few times I've ordered from FW I've always had a good experience. As others have said, a lot of "extra" cost depends on your bank. They pack and ship pretty quick if everything is in stock. They have amazing costumer service to boot and are always willing to replace items that are damaged or missing parts (if that happens). If you e-mail them and want to talk, they are even willing to call YOU in the US so you don't have to incur the calling charge.
