Recently I had a post on my blog about painting up the beautiful Iron Duke miniature range to a waragames standard(?). Well, I decided to go one step 'better' and try out a new style with more staggered steps between the layering.

[b]The results of which and and certain amount of self criticism can be read about and seen on my Shooting Leave Blog here[:/b]

I'd love to hear if anyone has had any similar experiences and how they have tackled the problem so please feel free to pop over to the blog and leave a comment or simply leave one here. There are also more pics illustrating the 'problem'.

Cheers,
Darrell.

Yeah, I wasn't so happy with them so when I'd finished the unit I sold it!

Still, the money was ploughed back into the Iron Duke Indian Mutiny range and many more shiny baubles were bought with the cash!

Looking at the photo here the hats need more definition and some detail on the rifles, e.g. shiney bayonet would help a lot. I think the figures are not yet finished though.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.
