Hey guys i need some advice
For the past couple of weeks i have been playing a emporers children themed army and dont get me wrong while its fun its im finding its actually a struggle to.win.with it. Now as i also own khorne daemonkin im wondering should i change my army over to a daemonkin list

All in all, it's not surprising that it's difficult to win with Chaos....

its hard to say to be honest theres a death guard player 3 wolves player 1 of who.also plays white scars too theres a smurfs player another white scars player a salamanders player 2 eldar players an iron hands player who.also plays admech a guy who plays a unbound army of space karines gks and guard. The smurfs player also has a guard army

Forgot to mention theres also a tau player too

So yeah, pretty much every other army that just better than Chaos.

The only thing I can really say is bring Heldrakes.

Thats annoying as i really hate drakes i cannot stand them for the life of me lol

As does my girlfriend, but unfortunately their one of the best things you guys have, and would really help, especially against Power armor units.

See power armour i can generally deal.with (blast masters help alot) but its just bleh i find myself reliant on my lord deciding to actually do something and not die or it all goes wrong for me. Its annoying because i look at the kdk book and it looks like i could transfer the majority of my list over and it would do soo much better thanks to the blood tithe table lol

If it helps, I've personally seen/heard that Daemonkin is actually doing rather well. You'd have a much better shot using that.

Do you use forge world?

No i dont due to.not really being able to afford alot of it lol. KDK is definately tempting me i.think il try running a more multi god list first with daemons and csm

Well you cold always scratch build some stuff. I scratch built the rapier batteries, since forge world doesn't really have a model for them anyway...at least not the csm version.

its more the i need imperial armour 13 and then the units lol. Il try this mixed god daemons csm list if all else fails i can put up with it til the end of the month when i may start a eldar army

Maybe try the armylist forum then?
Get some perspective on any potential weaknesses? They'll probably suggest switching to nurgle and adding heldrakes and nurgle oblits but who knows, maybe you can get some good have that still fits the theme?
