Here's the first Black Knight I've painted for my DA successor. What do you guys think? For some reason I'm having issues adding pictures.

Again, having issues posting pictures. It keeps uploading five of the same pic when I'm selecting five different ones.

Bit of a colourful departure from the standard colour scheme, but I think I like it! Very interesting.

My only criticism is the edge highlights just above the front wheel, they look a bit heavy and could do with being thinner I think.

Edge highlighting has always been tough for me when I don't have a sharp edge. I'll have to just keep workin on it.

There are a couple of other ways too. Normally with edge highlighting you're using the side of the brush and dragging it along the edge, but where the edge isn't much different (such as here) you can end up with too much paint.
One option is to not use that technique, but instead paint a line in an ordinary way but with a really thin brush (and a steady hand), another option is to go back after your edge highlight and retouch the black either side, to make the line thinner.

I really like the use of colour. RW in all black can look a touch dull imo, but these really pop and look awesome.

A nice technique is to use a wet pencil in the right colour and seal it afterwards with a wash or matt varnish!

I did draw the line, but it obviously didn't work out. Lol. I'll probably go back with the black and touch it up.

Never thought of using a pencil. I'll have to try it out.
