The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

I have generally no idea how this'll play, but it's cool someone's making a Man O' War game. I think the problem is that the trailer shows these way up close animations of crew members doing things, and I assume the camera's going to be a bit more zoomed out, with those animations if you wanna look in close like in Dawn of War.
I mean... I guess I'm kinda glad that no one's taken Necromunda now.
The guys who are making that Mordheim: City of the Damned game said they'd like to do Necromunda if their Mordheim game takes off. Mordheim actually looks pretty solid though, based on gameplay and early access reviews and stuff.

So the Old World continues on in the digital realm.
Its all very odd to me, hordes of games set in a world GW has blown up and deleted. I cannot for the life of me grasp the marketing ideas behind it all.

Presumably GW are making at least some small amount of money from each one with absolutely 0 money or effort input on GWs part.
Of course I don't for a minute expect they have considered the damage shovelware will do to their IP and brand name.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

Evil Twin Designs previous game was the adaptation of Mongoose's Victory at Sea game. So this isn't that far a deviation from their previous work. As for the quality of that adaptation, can't comment.

It's all an ingenious scheme. 2 years from now when all these games are out and being enjoyed by their audience, someone at GWHQ hits the big red button causing all the games to self delete - then they announce Age of Sigmar: Mobile - a slew of dozens upon dozens of new shovelware games set in bubbleopolis or whatever the new world is called.

And its awesome. If they do a Necromunda game, its an auto-purchase for me. Mordheim made put down Fallout 4.
And as far as this game goes, it looks promising.

They blew Warhammer up? Like, did they blow it up in MY MIND? Because I'm fairly sure it's still in there. It's almost as though, if I happened to have a Warhammer army, I could just play a game of Warhammer as though it were still in the Old World. As if the advancement of a story or of fluff doesn't have any real effect on the narrative of the game I'm trying to play....
Unless I'm mistaken, and it does.
I guess somebody should tell anyone playing WWII games that the allies won, so why bother?

Never played Man o War but I think it looks pretty cool. I wouldn't be interested in fending off Megladons every other minute the trailers have emphasized that a lot. But I like the footage of the coastline and men on deck. The ship seems a bit rigid on the water hopefully that is smoothed out.
